  • Common Name: Thyme
  • Folk Names: Common Thyme, Garden Thyme
  • Habitat & Description: shrubby perennial, doesn’t like wet winters, well drained neutral to alkaline soil in sun, zone 4-8.
  • Planetary Ruler: Venus
  • Gender: female
  • Elemental Rule: water
  • Parts Used: whole plant, oil
  • Culinary Uses: flavorings for soups & stews, fish, good with vegetables and mushrooms.
