Yesterday, I was straightening up and changing around my altar. In the process I stumbled upon a bag of stones. I figured I would share the meanings of them, so I can get rid of these scraps of paper 🙂
Onyx
This mineral is excellent for initiating the modes of centering and alignment of the total person with the higher powers. It can be used to banish grief, to enhance self control, to stimulate the power of wise decision making and to encourage happiness and good fortune. It can also be used to cleanse the intuitive receivers.
Lapis
Provides for activation and energizing of the throat and brow chakras. It is a stone of “total awareness”, helping to expand awareness and the intellect. It provides objectivity, clarity and mental endurance during release of emotional bondage. It can help you to evolve upward toward the light of total unification with “all that
Jade
Known as the “dream stone” and a “stone of fidelity”, bringing realization to one’s potential and devotion to your purpose. It improves the remembering of dreams and assists in “dream solving”. It is also used to release suppressed emotions via the dream process.
Black Kyanite (I actually have this as a pendant which I never take off)
It is one of the two minerals on the planet that neither accumulates nor retains negative energy, and therefore never needs cleansing. It is used for clearing chakras, communication, to deflect negative energies. It is associated with the root chakra.
