Peridot’s Magical Uses

The Summerlands

I’m an admin for a page on Facebook and I felt like blogging this post I made.

Peridot used to be set in gold which let it be used effectively in magic. As this, it guards well against night terrors and illusions and the evil eye.

When worn or carried, it enhances general healing. It is also said to promote the healing of insect bites and to help in liver ailments.

The stone is used to attract love and calm raging anger. It’s useful in soothing nervousness and dispelling all negative emotions. It promotes sleep. In Roman times, rings of peridot were worn to relieve depression.

Anything peridot can be used for olivine can do just as easily.

Nephrite Jade

Known as the “dream stone” and a “stone of fidelity”, bringing realization to one’s potential and devotion to your purpose.  It improves the remembering of dreams and assists in “dream solving”.  It is also used to release suppressed emotions via the dream process.
