Today’s Card

25. Apsaras Hands (Upright)

Achievement • Completion

Gracious, playful female deities called Apsaras are found sculpted everywhere throughout the great temple complex at Angkor Wat in Cambodia. Nine exaggerated hand movements borrowed from these captivating sculptures complement the image of pink waterlilies that fill a pond facing this famous temple. Nine is the number of completion. The achievements of the ancient Khmer culture are undeniable.

Three circles offer a sense of wholeness as you contemplate the completion of this chapter of your life. You have accomplished much and realized success in the achievement of your purpose. As you approach the conclusion of this phase, honor the work you have completed and the decisions that have brought you to this moment. It is time now to expand your vision and choose a new path. Each life is filled with beginnings and endings. Even our highest aspirations find completion.

Life continues in a manner that is not always predictable, yet with an attitude of flexibility and a sense of adventure you will see that new horizons and fresh opportunities are always available. Look to your future with optimism and hope, knowing that magic and new horizons are just around the corner.

Reversed

As you resist completion, you diminish what you have accomplished. Ease into the knowing that everything is temporary and that endings beget new beginnings.
